The inspiration for this design came from a famous figure of speech in Axenfeld's language. The result is "Two Spoons of Sugar," a set of sugar cubes shaped like Roman numerals.

The strength and uniqueness of this design lie in its simplicity and convenience. Instead of using a spoon or measuring the amount of sugar, you can now pick one of the three numerals made from sugar and pop it into your beverage. It's a single action that solves your purpose without any hassle or measurement.

The realization of this design involves using white sugar, demerara sugar, and water. The sugar is molded into the shape of Roman numerals, creating a visually appealing and functional product. The package contains three sugar cubes, either in white sugar form or demerara sugar.

The dimensions of the package are 3.5 cm in width, 15 cm in depth, and 1 cm in height. The project started in April 2008 and was completed in August of the same year in Israel. It was later exhibited at the Tokyo Designers Week in 2011 as part of the designboom mart.

One of the challenges faced during the creation of this design was the drying process of the sugar cubes. Patience was key, as many sugar cubes were broken due to a lack of patience. However, Axenfeld overcame this obstacle and successfully created a practical and visually appealing product.

"Two Spoons of Sugar" has received recognition for its excellence in design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2012 in the Food, Beverage, and Culinary Arts Design category.
